Lord Dunsany

Lord Dunsany, eigentlich Edward John Moreton Drax Plunkett, geb. am 24. Juli 1878, gest. am 25. Oktober 1957, ist trotz seiner einzigartigen, in einer erfundenen Welt angesiedelten Kurzgeschichten in der Welt der Fantasy? eine relativ unbekannte Figur.

Daneben verfasste er auch eine Reihe grotesker Geschichten (der "Jorkens"-Zyklus) und Kriminalgeschichten ("{Smetters erzählt Mordgeschichten}?").
