Es ist nett, ein deutsches wiki zu sehen.
Sunir, I'm really glad to see you here! I created a bunch of german wikis for different purposes and try to get them up and running:
It's cool to see foreign language wikis. The MeatBall:LinkPattern is rather English biased. Cliff told me you forked the script, so I wanted to check it out. Unfortunately, this means you are missing some rather important features like MeatBall:BracketedLinks and MeatBall:KeptPages. What changes did you make that necessitated forking? -- SunirShah
There are so many large and small changes. The support for HTML-templates and optional animated link bar images was the largest overall change. Next were
Please. Pick the some features that you'd think I'd be interested in (i.e. none of that MeatBall:FormOverContent sugar ;). --ss
I'm no missionary, but I like your home page. Do I really miss bracketed links? A consistent extension syntax has it's advantages. --hl
Very nifty. But why not then use XML (or even XHTML)? Cliff does have a point though. Wrapping foreign links in brackets prevents people from lying about the links ala RecentChanges. In other words, it signals that the link is moving outside the server space, so it should be guaranteed to resolve securely. I like that you handle Javascript though. --ss
Is "lying about links" a real danger? Often there may be the need to access internal functionality by such Links, e.g. Login. Otherwise to add a small "external link symbol" would be trivial. BTW after login (sent you a password by email) you might try Upload.
I havn't thought about XML because I feel that an internal extension language should simplify the complexities of HTML, if possible:

I think users shouldn't have to learn HTML or XML.
Except
perhaps
this
one.
I do not underestimate the form & content issue, but I had serious problems while showing the wiki to potential Austrian customers. I had to prove that the wiki is not a rudimentary toy system. Now that I can show them more features than they are able to imagine, we can leave that behind and discuss important things like community and content. --hl
