Browser Command Line

The BrowserCommandLine shows the internet address that has been used to produce the current page. It is rarely used in a direct way, perhaps to make contact to a domain name that was given in a magazine. Later on the user just "surfs" the website using the available links.

In a wiki the situation is quite similar, but the links that are placed on wiki pages hide general commands and it is sometimes useful to issue these commands directly in the command line: it may be faster than searching for the link or it may be that certain - perhaps new - wiki functions are not available from the the user interface.

See Commands.
