   WikiBase is used to create a reference for a wiki branch or page group, e. g. see

When you now go to

and move around you will see that

  • the title is reduced by WikiBase
  • index shows only the pages in the branch
  • ...

WikiBase is deprecated, please use SubWiki instead. -- HelmutLeitner

Disadvantages of WikiBase:

  • it was possible to define a wrong WikiBase.
  • it needed a separate command to define the BaseChain.
